Is it? I mean, on this planet, even closely related species usually can't reproduce. But then in fantasy novels you end up hearing about half-elves and such?

that's what makes me unsure. so many of our memories have ended up seeming more like fiction than reality, i hesitate to apply real logic to them. if someone can stop a shot from a laser gun with their mind, who's to say aliens can't reproduce?

How the hell do you stop a laser gun with your mind?

i have no idea, but he did it. he froze it with whatever magic he used to do everything else, i guess.

But if its a laser its light, right? Even if its some sort of hard light to actually hurt anything that has to be impossibly fast?

again, that's real logic. i don't think magic tends to follow those kinds of rules.

i did get the feeling it wasn't something that just anyone could do, though.

It's a tornado of bats, I really don't know what to say.

yes, but how does it happen? do you summon bats out of thin air, do you have to have them around?

to be fair I think it was a fight between vampires, so that would happen.

so do you actually have this power now or are you just referring to the memory of it?

[It's a little disappointing if it's the latter.]

Well I can issue orders to bats? But I'm not sure how to practically make a tornado?

now i'm just picturing a fairy tale vampire princess with bats instead of woodland creatures.

No, but I did share a cave with two pretty younger women and a wolf.

i'm tempted to make a joke about dances with wolves. i did hear things turned out more favorably with them than anticipated.

[Although admittedly his source was... very confusing.]

It is, actually! In the end, the whole thing was the result of some magical rabies, was how Zee called it. But really it's basically some dark energy possessing one powerful magic wolf which can split into a bunch of other wolves.

no wonder i couldn't figure out what happened from what i was told. so you cured it and the problem was solved?

More or less. But the ending of everything was pretty suspect if you ask me.

It's a little complicated tp explain without just explaining everything, but...

There's a few questions left unanswered and one of the bigger ones is who the guy looking over the arena we fought the final fight in. The last leg of it was gathering up stones across these nine doors in order to unlock the arena and then fighting monsters in front of an audience of ghosts. This got us some material that the wolf then wears, and an unsettling journal.
