Yeah, that sounds like him. He keeps telling me that I'm a better person than I think I am.
I got that. I think I got that even before Poe said anything. [ He was a little bit scary, and watching him talk to Krennic... he'd suddenly realized that he left the oven on and needed to leave immediately, which is the exact reason he'd ran off. ]
... out of curiosity, can I ask why you did step in, then?
Because if he were to kill you, it would summon a horrible thing that would punish him, and though I have no issue with that punishment, I would rather not have to sense its presence again.
[There's an undertone of bitter hatred in the words, though if Bodhi is paying particular attention, he may be able to tell there's the tiniest amount of... fear. This thing is deeply unpleasant in many ways, for Kylo Ren.]
Horrible thing? [ He'll take Kylo's word on this, after all - he's had his own run ins with horrible things, thanks. Bodhi would still want Krennic to have some punishment for all that he had done, though. ]

I'll take your word on that. [ Bodhi feels the weight of that stare, and he shudders. There's a trickle of fear that he quashes, because he doesn't want to think of that, now. ]
So it only comes out when we murder one another? I mean if it hates us so much, why not just let us... I dunno, let us deal with our problems ourselves?

In the way we are born from and return to the Force, in our own galaxy, that spirit—manages that cycle here. Because we are not of this world, our... essence doesn't belong. And so as long as we don't get involved in that cycle, it doesn't care. It's only when we do that it is unhappy.
