[Of course, when Armitage gets out of that shower, he'll be met with a robed Kylo Ren sitting on his bed smelling of ozone, his fingers threaded and elbows resting against his knees. He's clearly been waiting for the man to come out for... a little while, at least.
He doesn't say anything at first, either, just to let Armitage get in the first word. How nice of him.]
[What-- what is Ren doing in his room?! The very wet general just stares at his partner with a stunned expression, before it quickly morphs into irritation as he keeps the towel around him. Whatever the knight wants to say, he can wait. The nerve, barging into Hux's room without warning and just sitting on his bed like Hux showering is a big inconvenience for him.]
[Well, apparently something happened to put Hux in a spectacularly bad mood. Now Kylo has to know. He sits up, frowning and making absolutely no moves to leave.]
[Good, at least Ren is willing to agree with him on that. He turns to the closet and slowly grabs his clothes, deciding to not even bother telling Ren to give him some privacy. It's not like Ren hasn't seen him unclothed before.
Still, he quickly dresses, but at least he's already feeling better in fresh clothes. More like himself, in control.]
I had an unfortunate run in with a rather large insect, that's all. When it died, it splattered me with its remains, thus ruining my clothes. It's why I'm irritated, Kylo.
[He's not lying, but he's definitely leaving a lot of stuff out. But thinking that they're done, Hux moves to exit his room.]
[He stops to grumpily look at Ren, knowing that the knight would just follow him everywhere if he just walked out of his room. He's annoyingly stubborn like that.]
I'm fine, shouldn't that be your main focus? I was in danger of getting killed by it.
[That's enough to turn his displeased stare into a scowl.]
I am glad for that, and I would be proud of you for finally managing to deal with danger on your own if that was all this was, but something tells me that's not the case.
[He looks at Ren with a scowl of his own, trying to hide his feelings about that whole event from him. But just the thought of Leia Organa saving him causes his room to become cold.]
[In lieu of a response, the knight simply lets out a slow breath, his stare never wavering from Hux's face. He's waiting for the other man to actually get to the heart of the matter; he can only stall for so long, and Kylo doesn't want to waste energy playing along.]
[If possible, Hux's mood sours and a slightly disgusted look appears on his face. Combined with a familiar loathing coming from the general, Ren can probably guess the person responsible for his rescue.]
Leia Organa.
[There. He said it, it's been acknowledged. Doesn't mean Hux likes it.]
[A similar look of disgust comes to Ren's face when Hux says the name, and he even shifts back a little, as if mentioning her alone is enough to drive him away.]

Get out.
no subject
I just wanted to ask you about your day.
[It apparently involved a horrid-smelling mess of some sort. So Kylo wants to know.]
no subject
Splendid. Now that I've satisfied your curiosity, leave my room. [He's the most defensive right now, his pride is just too injured.]
no subject
You've done no such thing. Why are you upset?
no subject
Can't this wait until after I get dressed?
no subject
... I suppose, if it would make you more comfortable.

I would understand that if you were only irritated, but don't think I can't tell this was more than that. Something else happened.
[Not that he's pleased about Hux being in danger in the first place, but. Some things need to be addressed first.]

[Maybe he shouldn't have said that...]

[Ren folds his arms, directing a half-lidded stare at Hux. It should be obvious by now, surely.]
Something is bothering you.
no subject
[He's trying the delay tactic now, since the whole lying part failed miserably.]
Shall I give you a medal for your incredible insight?

...I was rescued. [Again.]
no subject
By whom.

Leia Organa.
[There. He said it, it's been acknowledged. Doesn't mean Hux likes it.]
no subject
Why were you even in the same place as her?
no subject
[He lips thin as he recounts the events leading to his rescue. He's going to avoid tasks for a while after this.]
I would've handled it, she just had to be the hero. [It's his weak attempt to assure Ren that it's nothing.]
no subject
[You fucked that one up yourself, Hux. Ren doesn't even need any special senses to catch that lie.]
You need to find out who else has signed up for these things before you go out and do them. ... or I'll just go along with you every time.
no subject
I know that. [He folds his arms and just gives Ren a look.] And I don't need you to follow me around like a bodyguard.
no subject
[THIS IS TREND, you can't deny it, Armitage.]
If nothing else I'm going to start training you so I know you can take care of yourself.
no subject
Not necessary. I can handle it, I've just had a couple of unfortunate accidents.
no subject
Do you want me to list out every incident.
