Being haunted by a former self's family isn't something I'd want to discuss over a text.

It's more that we're remembering entirely different settings that don't make sense with each other. I've heard of memories of fighting monsters with swords and ones of AI-controlled tanks.

I know that we haven't spoken much, but I think we know some important things about each other. Retrospec and what we see with it can be a little intimidating, which is why I think it's important that we have people around us to help. If you ever need anything, I would be very happy to be someone you can talk to.
I hope that 2018 is a good year for you and brings new happy memories!

there were. most of the people i've seen so far were human, but there were aliens. though i guess even if they looked human, they could have been aliens as well.

that's a good question. the aliens i saw were humanoid, so i'd think it would be possible?

Is it? I mean, on this planet, even closely related species usually can't reproduce. But then in fantasy novels you end up hearing about half-elves and such?
that's what makes me unsure. so many of our memories have ended up seeming more like fiction than reality, i hesitate to apply real logic to them. if someone can stop a shot from a laser gun with their mind, who's to say aliens can't reproduce?

i have no idea, but he did it. he froze it with whatever magic he used to do everything else, i guess.
But if its a laser its light, right? Even if its some sort of hard light to actually hurt anything that has to be impossibly fast?
again, that's real logic. i don't think magic tends to follow those kinds of rules.
