That pilot was largely responsible for everything that went wrong, including FN-2187's escape and Starkiller Base's destruction. Just the thought of Dameron was enough to cause a sudden crack in the wall next to Hux, despite his outer calm appearance. But as with Luke, the general knew that they couldn't exactly go after him right now.
