[It may be well over a year since Leia found herself here in Verens, but unfortunately even in that time, her cooking talent is... well, less than talented. Better than before, yes, but not fantastic, owing to the ease of ordering food or just making something that doesn't actually require cooking.
The exception to that is, thanks to Bail being here, Leia has taken to trying to figure out approximations of Alderaanian recipes here. His experience with cooking made finding substitutes for foods she knew well much easier than before. Her cooking isn't up to his skill level, no, but it's passable and tastes like it should, which is the important part really. And it's because of that that Leia, dressed in a coat suiting the weather but no scarf or anything of the sort, is at Kylo's door--knocking, sealed dish in hand--today. Even if he doesn't wind up talking with her much at all (or even if he winds up throwing the food away), she at least has to try and share his Alderaanian heritage with him, as best as she can here.]
